loved skort til it stretched out when hiking

Loved this skort when i first reviewed it, but after washing and wearing only twice, it stretched while out on my hikes and i am now forced to wear a belt to keep it on!!! I literally do not need to unzip when i need to use restroom. I wish I could return and get the smaller size, but the return date has past by a couple days.I am 149lbs, 5'7" and my build is pretty athletic. I bought the medium. Usually wear size 8 pants.

This is a great skort! First, it is really comfortable. Second, the fabric is very lightweight and handles the heat of the summer in Texas really well. Third - the fabric is great at repelling stains! I have this is both dark gray and khaki, and when I inevitably spill something on it, it often doesn't absorb into the fabric at all, but even when it does it rinses out really easily! And the fabric even dries super fast!

I started wearing skorts many years ago because they just look nicer, more put together and they are cooler than shorts. I am 5'5", 140# and the medium is a perfect fit. Since I don't have the showoff legs I had when I was younger, I really appreciate the longer length (18"), which is optional in this brand. The material is substantial and laundries beautifully without puckering seams like the expensive premium brand I have worn for years. I really wish a lighter beige (more neutral) color was offered as the khaki has a more yellowish brown tint.

I am only giving this 4 stars because of the sizing. I am a true size 4 and I ordered a Medium because that is what Amazon and the size guide recommended. When I got it it was HUUUGE on me, I returned it and bought a size small and a XS, they both fit much better. The XS gives a tighter more slimmer flattering fit but still moveable and breathable and the small a little looser fit. This skirt is super comfortable, stretchy, and well fitting. I do recommend this skirt, I will buy it in more colors. VERY happy with this skirt even though there was a sizing issue in the beginning.

Looks good, I wasn't expecting the material it was made of, but it still fits OK and is flattering. Its not flared at the bottom; kind of like pencil skirt. It just came with wrinkles that I will have to iron out. Otherwise, I would order again.
