About this product
Transforming from mummy bag to quilt (and back) with one zip, the REI Co-op Magma 30 trail quilt shape-shifts with a zip-and-cinch footbox that makes it a versatile choice for lightweight backpacking.
Features
- • Inclusive sizing lets you find your best fit based on body shape and sleeping preferences
- • Light-but-not-tight performance fit contours to your body shape, blending comfort with thermal efficiency and a light weight
- • Zipper and cinch at the bottom allow you to easily transform it from a flat quilt into a footbox
- • Integrates easily with your sleeping pad (not included) via the 2 pad cords that let you adjust the fit and warmth while keeping you centered on your pad all night
- • Draft tube on the bottom of the footbox prevents cool air from entering when the footbox is cinched tight
- • Shell and lining fabric are made from recycled downproof nylon and insulated with water-resistant, 850-fill-power goose down
- • Nonfluorinated durable water repellent (DWR) finish on the shell helps moisture bead up on the surface
- • Variable baffle spacing locates and stabilizes down fill for thermal efficiency with less weight; vertical baffles in torso prevent down from shifting to minimize cold spots
- • Insulated and adjustable top draft tube fills gaps along neck and shoulders to guard against heat loss; corner snap allows you to fully cinch around neck in cooler conditions
- • Includes a stuff sack for packing and a roomy mesh sack for breathable storage
- • Hand-wash or machine wash warm, gentle cycle in front-load washer only; do not bleach; rinse thoroughly; do not wring; air dry or tumble dry low; do not iron or dry clean
