Size chart not easily read. Size is off. Size 12 foot is larger than size 12 shoe.

I ordered these shoes with the hopes of feeling the barefoot aspect. Unfortunately the size chart is not easy to read so I went by the majority saying fit to shoe size. With a lot of fight I was able to get the shoes on although the fit was tight. yes you can feel the floor as you walk. But I could not keep the shoes on for long. I tried again in hopes the leathers will stretch and it did. It was a little easier to slip them on but still very tight. I did like them enough to buy them in a size 14, if I read my chart right, so hopefully these will be much more comfortable. I also bought the loafer of the same style and it fits like a glove with a size 12 shoe and a street shoe size 12 foot. I will write a review for the size 14 boot to let you know how it fit. Everything else about this shoe is nice. The look the feel of the floor through the flexible and thin sole is nice.Update:Im keeping the 12 because the leather does seem to stretch so they will be kick around shoes. The size 14 fits me perfectly. A little effort to get the heal up once you slip your foot in but nothing like the size 12. My foot is a size 12 but the size 14 fits perfectly. And yes you get the barefoot experience when you wear them will no show socks or barefoot.

I'll try to keep this short. Whatever your size is, get one size bigger. If you have wide feet, even the bigger size won't fit you. They are quite narrow. Hopefully they will get a little comfortable after wearing them a little, but so far I'm quite disappointed about having to get a size bigger and they are still a.litrlw too narrow.

I love these shoes! Unfortunately one of the plastic pieces came off the lace of shoe the second I put it on and tightened the laces. Of course I didn't want to go through a return for something so small as that so I got my super glue out and fangled it back on. Over all love.

The shoes are super comfortable right out of the box. I had to return it because I have an abnormally wide foot that makes it fit poorly when I have socks on and I don’t like wearing shoes without socks. I did try them on barefoot though, and I could tell they’d be super comfortable if they were a bit wider.

Wearing them in the attached photo. I purchased these as a comfortable, in theme, footwear option for Renaissance Faires. I received multiple compliments on them, and my feet were good the entire day! They don't have much padding, so expect that. Also, they are slightly narrow, so if you naturally have a slightly wider foot, you may want to order a size up. I wear a size 14, and lengthwise they fit the same as other 14s, just a little narrow.
